We're looking for people with a passion for literature who:

  • Scored 47+ before scaling in VCE English

VCE English Tutor


Pay: $45-60/hr first year grads; $65-90/hr with 1+ years experience; $70-150/hr for legends. Opportunities for project-based work.

  • Teach small-group high school English classes our set curriculum (min 4 classes weekly)

Blog Manager


Are you an expert in all things VCE? Do you know English inside and out? Would you like to get paid to write articles about year 12?

We're looking for a blog manager to take over our SEO and website operations. You are in charge of making sure the blog looks fabulous, is easy to navigate, and most importantly is chock-full of information that is useful to students. Your day-to-day work will mostly involve writing and editing blog posts, as well as coming up for new ideas to make the blog and website better.

Pay: $10-50 per post (depending on length + traction)


You must be able to:

  • Produce 1-2 blog posts (min) relevant to our student base every week
  • Write with immaculate prose
  • Have a keen eye for trends and relevant topics in the VCE space

Head of Assessment (Year 12)


Do you love marking essays? Are you constantly trying to hone your feedback-giving skills? Would you like to upskill and learn to manage a team? If so, our Head of Assessment role might be for you.

We're looking for someone with expertise in marking year 12 English assessments who can help manage our feedback division. Your role would involve managing the stream of assessable work that comes in, allocating it to relevant tutors, and stepping in yourself to mark work and keep the feedback standard high. Your job is to ensure we get clear, actionable feedback returned to students ASAP, particularly when they have SACs on the way.

Pay: project based, but rates equivalent to $40-55/hr first year grads; $50-85/hr with 1+ years experience; $70-110/hr for legends. Marking pay is on a per-word basis.


You must be able to:

  • Perform the role of a tutor (above) to an immaculate standard
  • Teach 4+ group classes weekly to deeply understand our students
  • Track and hit our KPIs, notably time to return work, and student feedback ratings
  • Manage a team of tutors and markers

Resource Creation (Product) Lead


Do you have an interest in product management, publication design or analysing literature? Do you have a keen eye for character analysis and a desire to work on your own schedule?

We're looking for a Resource Creation Lead (product lead) to head up our resources department. You'll be in charge of analysing literature, creating quote banks, writing essays and sample analysis, and developing our internal and external student resources. The role is flexible: you can work whenever and wherever you want as long as you deliver great products within the timeline you set. For those really looking to add a bump to their resumes, we're open to you choosing and managing your own products within the business vision.

If you're interested in management, you'll also have the opportunity to grow into a role managing our product team.

Pay: project based, but rates equivalent to $45-60/hr first year grads; $65-100/hr with 1+ years experience; $70-150/hr for legends.

Student (Customer) Experience Lead


Do you always notice the little problems with how teachers run classes? Are you left sometimes feeling like your high standards aren't hit? Does the question of how to get students loving tutes and learning at the same time keep you up at night?

We're looking for a Student Experience Lead to manage our end-to-end customer experience. You're in charge of making sure students are finding the classes fun, and worthwhile. You'll be keeping on eye on our core metrics for student engagement and success, and devising new ways to test and improve those metrics - so you'd better love data! This is the perfect launch pad for anyone interested in a career in user experience or product management.

Pay: project based, but rates equivalent to $45-60/hr first year grads; $65-100/hr with 1+ years experience; $70-150/hr for legends.


You must be able to:

  • Develop useful metrics, devise ways of tracking them, and then monitor those KPIs
  • Listen closely to student feedback to spot holes in our student experience
